How To Never Run Out Of Outfits: Highschool Edition

Are you running out of outfits? Read this now!

I have put together thirteen basic, casual pieces of clothing and twenty-two outfits you can put together with said pieces. Most of them are school code friendly, for my lucky non-uniform-wearing friends. So, scroll down and get some inspo to build your aesthetic wardrobe!

Outfit Pieces:

Here are thirteen essential wardrobe pieces that can give you a never-ending wardrobe full of simple yet aesthetic outfits. 

  1. A good pair of loose-fit jeans (bonus points if flared)
  2. Black baggy pants
  3. Beige/light brown pants
  4. Basic black Tee
  5. White Tee
  6. Black and white collared button-up shirts
  7. Black and white crop tops (If you wear crop tops) 
  8. Three Oversized Tees (pastels)
  9. Two hoodies or sweatshirts (Neutral colors preferably, black and a pastel one) 
  10. Two sweater vests (Either neutral colors or pastels) 
  11. A cute casual flowy dress
  12. Any cute jacket (Leather, denim, wool, anything depending on our style)
  13. Any short pleated skirt.

Outfit Combinations

These are some of the outfits you can create from the above pieces:

  1. Jeans/black pants, with any of the tees paired with a cute necklace and sneakers. (If you have the exact number of pants and tees mentioned above, that makes about ten outfits)
  2. Lair a jacket or zip-up hoodie to the above outfit.
  3. Skirt with a hoodie.
  4. Skirt with a crop top.
  5. Skirt with a crop top.
  6. Skirt with a crop top and the collared shirt over it.
  7. Any of the pants with a collared shirt 
  8. Pants with a crop top and the collared shirt over it and a cute necklace
  9. Pants with a collared shirt and matching vest over it.
  10. Dress.
  11. Baggy black pants with a hoodie or sweatshirt
  12. The options are limitless. Feel free to explore whatever you want!

Must-have accessories

Spice up your outfits with these accessories:

  1. Sneakers
  2. A necklace
  3. A fanny pack/sling bag in neutral colors (black, white, beige, light brown, dark brown.)

Add on accessories

Here are some optional accessories that you can add if you want to : 

  1. Cute Glasses.
  2. Earrings.
  3. Boots.
  4. Heels.
  5. Chain belt.
  6. Pant-chains.
  7. A watch.

Extra outfit pieces for when you want some color

I’ve kept the essentials pretty plain, so here are some colorful ideas to spice it up. 

  1. Purple pants.
  2. Sage Green tops.
  3. Colorful Crochet tops.
  4. Pink Pants.
  5. Pink sweater vest or cardigan
  6. Pastel green gingham pants.
  7. Pastel blue gingham skirts.
